Centerless grinding is the process of grinding along the outer diameter. The uniqueness of the process lies in the fact that the parts (components) are not held in position mechanically, but are supported by a support knife. The rotation of the component is controlled by the feeding circle. A larger driving wheel (grinding or polishing wheel), rotating at a higher speed, provides the necessary material removal and surface treatment.
